Art supplies?

Postby Fish » Tue Dec 06, 2011 3:58 am

Heya everyone, This fall I started as a freshman Architecture student at a school in Boston. Now I am broke out of my ass because of art supplies. Anyone know a good online site that may have things cheaper? It wouldn't help with stuff I need quick, but it would save me lots when I'm buying supplies for next simester. Anything would help really, Thanks :-D

I'll try to post some of the projects I'v done once I get the last few back from my professors. And GOD has it been forever since I posted anything here, college is such a time sink. I have missed the talk that happens here.

I am pretty much zero help here 8D I either went to a local place that closed a couple years back, or to Utrecht or Hobby Lobby/Michaels. I do know that Utrecht and Michaels have online sites, but I've never actually ordered anything, I've just gone there to see if they carried something I needed. Utrecht's pretty reasonable, I don't know about cheap, but the quality is good. I'd see if there are any local places? ::hippie face::

Yeah same, normally just Michaels :( And they are never cheap. The best you can do is just search around...you could start by checking out fatwallet.com and search out the things you need, see if there are good deals going on... idk where else to look tho. We happened upon my first Prisma set back in 2003 on some website going out of business and managed to get a 180$+ set for 70$...whichrocked. But it was luck lol.

I'v got Blick and a Utrecht near me so I guess I'll stick with them. I was just hoping for a magical internets store.

Lulz, you can probably just google search art supplies, but I think the last time I checked Michael's you could see what they had, but not order it delivered...no idea about other stores though.

Question: I wanted to post some of my drawing, but there are a lot of them. I'v narrowed it down to 27pictures,which is a lot less than I have but that is still a lot to put up. hchano would you prefer I cut it down more or should I just go head and put them up?
