Versailles Trellia Triscopei from (title STILL undecided after all these stupid years) "Ex-Angel" (the name the story started out with)

1) First name came while I was thinking of the city in France. I liked the idea of attaching an extremely feminine name to a sort of rough looking girl (the girl's age at the start of the story is twelve, but she turns thirteen in the second chapter since the story starts about a month before her birthday.).
In the Cowboy Bebop episode Heavy Metal Queen there's a character named VT. You find out her real name only at the end, but when Steve Blum pronounced the last name, I couldn't understand WTF he'd said. I KNEW it was wrong, but it SORT OF sounded like he was saying "Triscopei" and I liked the sound of the last name overall. I wound up finding out what the stupid name was, and even momentarily changed her last name, but decided "She started out with this name, she should keep it. I should just say her ancestors came through Ellis Island and their name got changed because it was too fucking hard to pronounce by the American tongue in the nineteen twenties. XD" It's Terpsichore,(Te-rup-see-co-rreh. Roll the first R that appears in the name) for the record.
Her middle name comes from a character in Ecco The Dolphin: Tides of Time. I heard that name as a child and fell in love. To this day it's one of the most beautiful names for a girl that I've EVER HEARD EVER. (Wow, that was unnecessarily long...)

2)Started out life as a simple doodle on the board in my choir class when I was a Junior in high school. I liked the hair style (it was a 'bust' if you will), and couldn't bear to part with the fairly simple design (I'm pretty notorious when it comes to drawing hair for characters... read 'notorious' as 'obsessive'. >.>; ). She looked sad-lonely. At the same time, I'd been playing with a design for an humanoid figure that lacked a distinct gender, yet seemed to be both all at once. I was trying to draw an angel. I put two and two together because I thought, "That girl needs a friend." The story evolved from there.

3) She starts out the story being fucking emo as shit, but she's supposed to become happier and happier as time goes on while she spends time with her guardian angel. The thing that has changed is how happy she becomes and how quickly. Where as before it took about three years for her to let her guard down with the angel, now it takes about a year and a half instead, and she falls in love HARD at the third year. Also, somewhere along the way she learned to play like three different instruments? And she starts a band with the angel, her former baby sitter, his friend, and a dude that's living with her family for a talent show? (WTF?) (Yeah, that's right: even I don't know. XD)

4) She starts out slightly on the prude side, although open-minded. After five years, however, she learns she likes having sex. She likes it A LOT. XD (Is that too crude to say? XD)

from the TV Guide, cos I saw 'Arli$$' and thought it sounded like a tough/cute

I created her in 2003, a couple months before I started dream*scar
[novel version], to RP with my friend's werewolf, Demitry xD After
that she ended up being one of my fave charas to RP so I stuck her
into d*s.

Arlie's basically always been the same -- a werewolf with a hot temper
and a reputation for being a prankster. In the old RP, she was 39 tho, cos
the RP took place after d*s... [in d*s she is 16]. She also had a facial
marking in the RP, the sign of a pack leader, but since she is just a
kid in d*s, she doesn't have it there. xD

Fun fact...hmmm xD; Well she is an artist?! She likes to do portraits

Anyways...

Demitry Whelan "Demi"

1. I just always happened to like the name "Demetri" which is how I've usually seen it spelled, but I changed the spelling up a bit and ended up calling him Demi for short. Demi looks cuter written down that Deme, no? Even though now I get aggravated thinking about Demi Moore... >>; Whelan I found on some website while looking for a last name for him! It's a variation of "wolf" in wealsh or something... I know not very original. ::shrug::

2. I made up Demi for an RP! 8D As most of my charas came about... I think I was so tired of all the vamp charas my friends had so I decided to make a werewolf which I think are way cooler anyway. 8D Then I ended up liking him way too much and tried to develop a story for him. Sadly I am horribly lazy! I have basically a rough idea for his story and some sloppy notes, chara stuff... a lot of it is in my head tho. ><

3. I would say he has changed drastically since the first time I RPed him. I always feel like my charas have their own personalities that I end up figuring out along the way. 8D I started him out as really serious and kind of a bad assed type character. The first RP I ever did with him, he actually SMOKED OMG... lol, but really he was actually a goof ball who clowns around all the time. >> Also, he and Arlie have always been together, but at first they started off in rival packs, dun dun DUUUN. Arlie was actually the reason Demi got those scars on his face, but when I decided to make Demi his own story, a lot of stuff had to change and that was one of them. xD As far as looks go... he hasn't changed much over the years... He had a long hair phase at one point, but it was kinda awful. xD

4. He was a man whore! Before he hooked up with Arlie of course. 8D

1) Liam + Selma's names came from...uhhh I think I always just liked the name Liam, and Selma is from Dancer in the Dark <3 They are my shapeshifter twins :B I don't remember any last names, so I'm going to assume I never gave them one, since their mom Nova was a one-name wonder and their dad was a banana half the time (OH BANANA GABE, THE BEST THING ROB EVER RP'D) and I don't remember his? xD

2) I can't remember if the RP came first, or if they did XDD I am a big dork about having long, elaborate story lines for my characters that I never write down, which is why my sci-fi story is finished...but not really. :'D I do remember RP'ing them with their mom a little bit (form an earlier RP)

3) I didn't really get to write as them very much, but over time Liam becomes braver and gains better control over his shifts, and Selma is less schizophrenic xD

4) Because I'm Kchano and it is what I do, I'll give you a probably-only-interesting-to-me biology lesson about shifters! The shifters can be completely male or female when shifted, regardless of their gender in natural-phase (kind of like a default state, or their "real" being), which means the same shifter could be either a father or a mother, but natural-phase males are much less likely to hold a female shift long enough to go through all the physiological changes that naturally occur during pregnancy. Shifter pregnancies (when they go well) are actually closer to 12 months for a pure shifter because of the complexities of their DNA, possibly even longer for a half-breed if the other parent is (going to borrow Heather's word here) unhuman. Twins are extremely rare because of the incredible tole it takes on the parent, regardless of natural-phase gender, so Liam and Selma are very special. :3

So funny thing, found this about 3 days after I finally decided on my main character's name.

Dan Pierce from my rocky chunk of a story
1)
his full name in Daniel Pierce, but he usually goes by Dan. I thought of his name by combining my two favorite authors ever, Dan Abnett and Tamora Pierce. Funny how the name came to me, I was driving to the book store to buy another one of Abnett's books and it just hit me. Haven't decided if he's gona have a middle name, I'm pretty sure he will but I haven't thought of one yet.

created him for my rocky lump of and idea. I thought of the idea for the comic not too long ago, I had recently discovered web comics and also seen the announcement of the Walking Dead t.v. show at some sort of convention the G4 was covering. about 5 min later shit started falling together. I guess the idea for it had been around in pieces in my head for a long time and it just came together then. I'll give a short version of the story, cause I'm pretty sure there is somewhere here for me to post a longer version.

Basically Danny boy has been having these dreams of zombies for months(years maybe, haven't decided). He started off dieing really quick in the dreams and eventually(after a long time) started to play the dreams and lived longer and longer. he goes to a psychiatrist because the dreams are really screwing with him(I'll go more into the psychiatrist part later), but s/he suggest he keeps a journal of the dreams. then one day(night/dream?) he's going through the regular cycle of the dream, kills the first zombie and...feels the blood splatter on his face...

Dan has gone through some little tweeks, originally I had him as a college sophomore, but now I'm reconsidering how old he is gona be. haven't decided on a few things like his hair color and eye's and things like that, but his body build was originally gona be a lot like mine, tall, little overweight but still has plenty of muscle. but now I'm reconsidering some things because of a small change in the story that I have yet to decide to keep or not. Oh the biggest change I made to him was his powers. originally I was gona have him as some weak as psycher dude, but I kinda made a change that he is pretty powerful but his power is split up because he has D.I.D.(dissociative identity disorder)-btw his mind is a fuck field, he is screwed up inside, which the story will explain why. But recently I'v been thinking of mixing the two, making him less powerful but still really screwed up in the head.

Yahhh me too (sometimes)... it's pretty time consuming though! Hopefully I will be able to write more eventually, I still work on it in my head a lot. It also doesn't help that I have like 3 other stories in my head too... so I alternately think about those as well and about getting them written. BTS is definitely the most fleshed-out one however...


Oh, I suppose I'll do another one while I'm at it!

Lehn Marthill (from The Blood-tinged Stone)

1- Originally Lehn was Ren, but I really thought Rin and Ren seemed a little too cutesy together... Lehn is a maybe a little bit of a girly name, especially with how I spell it, but I just think it works for him overall. Unfortunately, with stupid Vocaloid (sorry if anyone likes Vocaloid, I mean really, I'm sorry.... >.>) there are characters named Rin and Len... soooo just wanting to establish that mine were first =). Oh and the last name is pretty newish... so it's subject to change.

2- I definitely felt that Rinhelyd needed a human counterpart to remind her of her childhood, but in a more positive light. Since Lehn's childhood is so traumatic and difficult (despite him being human in a human world), they kind of have that common ground that they can build a bond upon. Lehn is an introvert that is trying to break out of his shell, whereas Rin is more of a troubled soul trying to find stability... so he is also a foil to her in that aspect.

3- Originally Lehn was actually a thief-type character, still living on the streets but more of your tough guy/badass kind of person... However, I've read a lot of books, seen anime etc with this exact kind of character wayyy too much, so I wanted him to be a little more original I guess? I'm not sure if he comes off that way at all, but I definitely intend to develop him more as a character (if I continue writing of course...)

4- Lehn also gets beaten/raped twice so far in the story... and that's only by chapter 4... I really worry about him (and his cruel creator).

Aarelyn (also from BTS)

1- I thiiiink I originally came up with this name when making a character for the MMORPG Asheron's Call. I've always loved names that start with 'A', and I have a bother named Aaron, so her name is slightly based off of his. I used this name a lot when making game characters, so it was natural for me to make a WoW character with this name. To be honest I'm not sure if the WoW character or the story character came first, but it may have been about the same time.

2- Aarelyn acts as Rin's buddy character, but also sort of a mentor. Personally I don't think Rin likes her very much at first, as she is way too upbeat for Rin's tastes, but she discovers that Aarelyn also has a very serious side when it comes to magic as well as the animosity between her race and humans.

3- I think Aarelyn's hair has changed shade/color/texture occasionally, but I think I pretty much came back to how she was originally. Also, she was more serious overall when I first thought of her character in BTS, but upon the development of Cynerra's character, I decided I needed one that was a little more fun and energetic. Her magic has also changed a lot from how I thought of it originally, and it's always evolving in my head...

4- Aarelyn's markings rarely show in my drawings, but they are on her shoulder area. She also has a very good reason for having an affinity for humans...

Long, long ago when I was but a young girl of 15.. no. It's a play off of her brother's name who I'd actually created for a friend as an RP character for them. The dufface ended up not using it so I obviously reclaimed him and made it so he had a sister whos name was the opposite of his. I just started looking through the biblical names section of my books and came across a different masculine spelling of it.

She is so god awful arrogant! I mean she was always bitchy but now she's got this swagger to her attitude. Now, after I was asked about it by a close friend, I'm revisiting it and making Az into a more complex character than before when she was very one sided and transparent in her actions. Now I'd like to think she's more 'devil may care' and sexually charged like she should be. lol

She has an infatuation with cheese. Growing up her mother used to make cheese from the cows on their small settlement farmhouse, now a days its hard to find and she'll pay any price to get her hands on some good dairy cheese.

Umm.. I came up with Rubel's name from the Russian currency even though she is a German with a western german accent. >>" No one can understand her when she talks anyways.

I watched Dracula for the first time and then Frankenstein soon after that so she is kind of a mix of it all. She has the theme of being an experiment ,but is a vampiric being in a biological and scientific sense.
3) how the character has changed over time (if they have changed)
Her proportions and her personality overall. She used to be very kiddish and after a while she kind of turned into a more bloody thirsty character which I was going for in the end. She is very satisfying to rp with in the end.

She has blue skin.
She has one working eye that is nothing ,but a pupil.
She is flexible enough to take her head and touch the ground back wards while standing.

Barian Durenald from DSA (The Dark Eye, greatest german pen&paper game if anyone knows that maybe o_o, probably not) Is more or less the star on on some short storys i wrote on him, in which he is some kind of really lame but fun hero.
The short storys are labeled: one-of-a-kind-mercenary (roughly translated, sry)

1) The name comes from the name index of said Rp. I wantet a strong name for a strong char. I wanted to take something like Brian but that wouldtn't fit in a german game. So Brian became Barian.
Durenald just sounds cool!

2) Dunno. Really. I think i just needed someone who could fight well, cause the GM was mean. xD I liked the idea of a strong, battlehardened warrior who was overly shy towards women. lol

3) He started out as as a strong swordsman/mercenary/bodyguard with a lack of words who couldn't talk to women even if his life depended on it. If he ever said something it would be 3 words or less. Always calm and collected. A good and nice guy who never considert himself a hero.
By now he talks more often. He now looks at them girls if he talks to them (mostly). He is one of the greatest swordsmen in the country. He is still a little coward sometimes.
In the short storys he is a traveling mercenary/bodyguard with no luck whatssoever. Trough skill and the help of one or the other god who still owes him one, he manages to save the day (altough not knowing what he just did, most of the time).

4) Trough a coincidence he is able to eat metall, ore and stone like bread. Don't ask why. Nobody else knew it.
One day he and his group fucked up, got chained down and imprisoned. While everyone startet making stupid escape plans, he just bit his chains while mumbling "..this is embarrassing...". He ended up saving everyone: the cell was made of iron...
